Looking for things to do in Las Vegas? You should absolutely head to a Vegas Golden Knights hockey game.
Las Vegas is known for its casinos and glitzy shows, of course, but there's a new player in town: The exciting Vegas Golden Knights hockey team.
When my husband and I decided to go to Vegas over the November long weekend, seeing a Golden Knights game at T-Mobile Arena was high on our list.
The verdict? This young team is so much fun, the family friendly crowd is there to have a good time and the 17,500-seat arena is stunning.
If you're a hockey fan, I can say without reservation: Yes! Go and see a game in Vegas.
Here's T-Mobile Arena in photos, with more information below.

A look at the main entrance. Security checks were done swiftly and efficiently and it didn't take long to get in. |

Here's a look at Level 2. The stairs and walkway behind the officers lead to a fantastic outdoor patio. |

The New York New York hotel, with all of its high-energy restaurants and entertainment, is located to the right of T-Mobile. It is a five-minute walk from New York New York to T-Mobile. |

Opening faceoff! Inside T-Mobile, it's just as impressive. |

The arena features a beautiful panoramic photo of the Las Vegas Strip, as well as banners of every NHL team. |

Picking up on the T-Mobile logo, there's a lot of pink everywhere including at the concession stands. |

There's lots to do before and after the game right next to the arena. |

One of the best parties going is at New York New York's tailgate party at the hotel's Brooklyn Bridge attraction. |

Any guesses as to which team was playing the Knights when we attended? |
It's ridiculously easy to get to Las Vegas from many North American cities, especially if you live in the West or Midwest, making Sin City a perfect weekend getaway.
We flew Alaska using our two-for-one companion pass, and WestJet has a similar offer. And if you don't mind driving to Bellingham in Washington state, you can fly Allegiant for under $100 return.
Looking for a place to stay? There's no shortage of hotels in Las Vegas, of course; however, I highly recommend New York New York, which is just a five-minute walk to T-Mobile Arena. And New York New York's The Park is filled with outdoor restaurants and entertainment that are buzzing day and night.
